• The game started out weak, with the Islanders potting two unanswered goals early on.
• The Leafs pulled their shit together in the second period, with Clarke MacArthur scoring the Leafs first and closing the gap to one.
• The Leafs then manage to score two more goals in the third period, giving them a 3-2 lead. 
• Jake Gardiner scored his first NHL goal.
• Unfortunately, with 13 seconds left, the Islander tied up the game, sending it into OT.
• The Leafs scored early on in OT, giving them the win.
• Usually OT against teams in the division are not good this far into the season, but with the Islanders so far down in the standings, it hopefully won’t come back to bite us in the butt.
• Mikhail Grabovski had a 4 point night.
• The league is in dire need of competent refereeing.

• Well it was a shut out for the first 57 minutes and 45 seconds. But of course the Wild managed to score in the dying minutes. Something always happens. But we won, which is all that really matters.
• Leafs managed to end a three game losing streak.
• There were goals from Kadri, Crabb, Kessel, Grabovski.
• Jonas Gustavsson was solid in net.
• Joffrey Lupul and Phil Kessel both now have 50pts in 46GP. Insane.

TOR 4-3 DET: Final Score 

• Leafs beat the Red Wings! How many times have we’ve been able to say that over the past few years?
• The first period was amazing, the Leafs scoring 3 unanswered goals within the first 15 minutes. 
• Kessel opened up scoring followed by a 148 km/h goal by Phaneuf, and then finally some well deserved Stecks by Steckel.
• Unfortunately, the Red Wings then scored three unanswered goals in the 2nd and 3rd.
• Joffrey Lupul came out as the hero, scoring the 4th and final goal for the Leafs, which just so happened to be the GWG.
• Jonas Gustavsson was solid, making 36/39 saves giving him a 0.923 SV%
• The Leafs picked up another two points in their 3rd win in a row.

TOR 3-4 CAR: Final Score (OT) 

• The Leafs lose their second in a row. 
• Let’s look at some good things in tonight’s game:
• Nazem Kadri scored, which is great because he finally seems to be proving that he deserves to play in the nhl. He scored 3 times in the last 4 games. That’s a pretty nice stat.
• Nikolai Kulemin scored, and it always nice to see him produce. He hasn’t been having a great season so far, and it’s good to see him working to get his game back
• Lupul scored and Kessel got an assist on the goal, which means that our two best players are still…well…the best.
• Finally, we got a point. That’s one more than we had yesterday, and every point matters. I rather have one then none.
